Clean Climate Controlled Winding Facility
Brandon and Clark’s winding are produced in a climate controlled, humidity stabilized winding facility. This 5,000 square foot facility is separated from the rest of the shop to prevent winding contamination. Our winding facility houses eight winding machines and has a five ton hoist to assist with safe coil handling. The winding facility also houses our state of the art coil up-ending process which allows us to provide our customers with the strictest coil handling procedures in the industry.
Quality Repair Materials
Our decision to use only high quality material enables us to help customers avoid unnecessary losses and maximize the life of their equipment. All Brandon and Clark transformer windings are produced from using copper conductor and nomex or dennison wrap insulation.
Brandon and Clark has experienced staff of engineers who can convert your transformer’s windings from aluminum to copper.
FR3 Fluid
Since 2005, Brandon & Clark has offered their customers the option to fill & retro-fill their electrical equipment with an environmentally friendly and EPA approved fluid called FR3®. Envirotemp FR3® fluid is made from food grade seed oils and food grade performance enhancing additives, which makes it completely biodegradable. FR3® fluid can help to extend the life of your transformers insulation and improves the transformers fire resistancy, through higher flash and fire points.

Transformer Modifications
Remote Sampler Valve Kit
It well known in the industry that DGA (dissolved gas analysis) is among the most effective ways for detecting faults within a transformer. Brandon and Clark now offers the safest, most convenient way of taking oil samples from your padmount transformer through its Remote Sampler Valve Kit. This kit allows for oil samples to be taken in an environment that is safe with no risk of arc flash because the transformer doors are never opened. The kit is located in an easy to access location allowing for samples to be taken without having to deenergize the unit.
As a part of your preventative maintenance program, Brandon and Clark will routinely take oil samples and send it to a third party laboratory for analyzing. The results from the test will be stored and trended to make ensure that if something is out of the ordinary proactive measures can be taken.

An IR (Infrared) Window can be installed to allow for infrared scanning without coming into contact with hazardous conditions that you are exposed to when the panel doors are open. With the addition of this window, arc flash PPE may no longer be required.
