A full-day, 8-hour orientation required for all new field workers and supervisors before stepping onto a Permian Basin operator site. Using virtual reality, video, and interactive exercises, this course builds hazard recognition skills and introduces the 12 life-saving actions behind serious incidents in the field: excavation, line of fire, H2S exposure, confined space, driving, work authorization, working at heights, mechanical lifting, hot work, energy isolation, electrical safety, and bypassing safety controls. Accredited by IADC.
Duration: 8 Hours (Full Day)
Certification: IADC-accredited; No refresher required.
Prerequisite For: Basin United Day 2: Safety Leadership.
