MSHA Part 48B Annual Refresher

A full-day, 8-hour course that satisfies the annual refresher training required under 30 CFR Part 48, Subpart B for anyone who has already completed new miner training at a surface mine operation. Topics include mandatory health and safety standards, transportation controls, emergency procedures, ground control, first aid, electrical hazard recognition, accident prevention, health monitoring (dust and noise), explosives awareness where applicable, and self-rescue device use.
Duration: 8 Hours (Full Day)
Regulatory Basis: 30 CFR § 48.28 (Part 48, Subpart B)
Certification: Required annually.

Learning Objectives
