Air Compressor Technician

Need a compressor technician/mechanic to perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on oil-injected and oil-free air compressors.

Duties include:

• Preventative maintenance must be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations
• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors, determine possible causes for malfunction and perform repairs
• Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameters of the compressor

Requirements:

• Prefer 1-2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Must be available for travel to customer sites, including out-of-town and overnight assignments, including evenings and weekends.
• Computer proficiency is required for communication, research and work orders.
• Provide basic tools to accomplish the job.
• Must have valid driving license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.  Must be able to walk, bend, reach and kneel to perform the job.
• Must be able, on a regular basis, to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature.
